Cantina Rivetti Gino

Origins:

The Rivetti family heritage has lasted almost a century and lives on through the personal supervision of all production processes, following the ancient farming traditions.
With the help of his wife Caterina, Gino began making wine in 1965 with the same grapes that the Rivetti family had grown for generations at the farmstead that his grandfather “Pinin” bought in 1925. As the years went by, results started showing: the sale of the wine and extension of the vineyards. Today, 20 years after Gino’s premature death, the family business has 22 hectares of vineyards and has an environmentally friendly outlook on the future of the company.

Territory:

The Rivetti Gino agricultural enterprise rises on one of the most famous hills of Alba, among luxuriant vineyards and splendid panoramas. At an average altitude of 340 m above sea level, which can vary by about 200 m, the variegated and extensive vineyards of the company are worth a visit, especially during autumn and spring. The farmstead is located in Serre, just a little ways away from the downtown of the city of the White Truffle.

People:

Gino’s sons manage the company: Mario, Angelo and Guido, with their respective wives. For some years now, the third generation has also been on the job; sons Mario, Alberto and Andrea have decided to carry on the family tradition.

Hospitality:

The company’s doors are open every day, 7 days a week, with no breaks from 8 AM to 7:30 PM. Groups of up to 150 people are accepted.
