Cantina Manuel Marinacci

Origins:

Manuel’s story is different from many which have been told up until now; there is no dynasty of viticulturists or landowners to tell about or a brand that for decades has been on the international market.
It must be mentioned that he did everything all by himself. After getting his diploma from Alba’s Umberto I High School, he put his winemaking talent into practice in Diano d’Alba, Barolo, in Umbria and in the region of Champagne. When he came back to Langhe, in 2002 he started his own business with the rental of the first lands and in 2004 made his first wine. Today the company produces 20,000 bottles a year and has 4 ha of vineyards.

Territory:

The setting is San Rocco Seno d’Elvio under the municipality of Alba. From here it is best to go to the Strada Romantica of Langhe and Roero, a route which unravels the history of man and this land with 11 panoramic points; it goes from Vezza d’Alba until it gets to Camerana, going through – among the many other stops – the castles in Magliano Alfieri and the Roche dei sette fratelli in Treiso.
