Cantina Aurelio Nota

Origins:

The company was founded in Sinio d’Alba in 1974, inspired by the land and by the experience of Aurelio’s father-in-law, who as early as 1945 was pressing and selling the vineyard’s harvest.
In 1978 he moved to Alba where he built the current winery. Since then, the Nota family has worked on its production year by year. Today their Brut sparkling wine is dedicated to Aurelio’s nephew; indeed, “Alè” appears on the label itself. What better sign of continuity and auspice for the future than sparkling wine?

Territory:

Located between the Langhe and Roero, the Nota winery’s land goes from the right side to the left side of the Tanaro, through Corneliano, Scaparoni, Monticello and Sinio.

People:

Today Aurelio’s son, Christian, leads the company, putting into practice his technical winemaking knowledge with the lands that belonged to his grandfather.

Hospitality:

The Nota wineryis always ready to open its doors to its visitors in a rustic setting, surrounded by ancient wine presses and historical tools. Here the guest gets the rare chance to broach a cask directly.
