Tenuta Langasco di Claudio Sacco

Origins:

The Sacco family has been in viticulture for three generations.
Before it was in the hills of Mango in the heart of the Moscato area, and now it’s in the hills of Alba, carrying on the tradition in making the sweet DOCG from Piedmont. After having purchased the Langasco farmstead in 1979, and after restructuring work was done on the vineyard, Valerio Sacco was able to take advantage of his experience in the areas best suited for making the red wines of Langa.

Territory:

Tenuta Langasco has evocative facilities and location. From there in just a few minutes you can get to the territory’s most characteristic towns, which include Barolo with its castle housed in Wimu. This museum is dedicated to the culture of wine and Barbaresco. There you will find the regional wine bar entirely dedicated to the wine of the same name in an exclusive location: the deconsecrated church of S. Donata.

People:

Currently it is Claudio Sacco, Valerio’s son, that manages the company.
