Origins:

Four generations from its founding, Monica Rinaldi has breathed new life into her great-grandfather Pietro and grandfather Costanzo’s company, with a winery at the cutting edge of technology and respect for natural heritage.
Here the harvest is done strictly by hand and herbicides are out of the question. Fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature and ageing in large Slavonian wood barrels, in a quest for quality.

Territory:

The setting is the hills of Alba, at an altitude of 400 m. Madonna di Como, the tiny town under the municipality of Alba, 5 km from downtown, delights visitors with an Alpine backdrop—Monte Rosa and the Matterhorn in sight. As early as the Roman Empire, this place defined its bent with the word “Como”, which meant a procession of youths dancing in honour of Bacchus, god of wine, the harvest and inebriation.

Hospitality:

Visitors are guided in an experience that stimulates the senses on their tour of the winery and the vineyards, with tasting of wines and specialties of Langa. Recently, the owners renovated an old farmhouse, transforming it into a wine resort conceived for wine lovers who would like to live their experience as intensely as possible; Miaclara Relais inaugurated its five rooms in September 2015.
