Cantina Adriano Marco e Vittorio

Origins:

The Adriano family’s winemaking tradition goes back to the early 1900s, when grandfather Giuseppe, a sharecropper, started growing vines. His son Aldo carried on the tradition by purchasing a small company; together they made a home for the new vines that still today yield great wines.

Territory:

We are in the heart of the Langhe, just a few minutes from Barbaresco. It is 8 km from Alba and can be reached by traveling ancient tracts of the Roman roads or the Tanaro Valley. In addition to the natural beauty of this territory, Barbaresco is worth visiting for its splendid medieval tower and the regional wine bar, located in a charming deconsecrated church. Renowned the world over, Barbaresco wine comes from the Nebbiolo grape variety aged for three years, and is also the main driver of the local economy. Visitors from all over the world come to this little town to taste it.

People:

Marco and Vittorio, with the help of their wives, have brought this family-run company into international markets; soon their children will carry on the tradition.

Hospitality:

You will find a warm family atmosphere. The company is open for visits both during the week and on the weekend with advance reservations. Even excursions are organised in the vineyards and along the trails of the Langhe.
