Origins:

From 1996 to today, the wines of the Rigo family have taken huge steps.
While maintaining the genuineness so emblematic of the Dolcetto and Barbera grape varieties, it has managed to bring its labels to most of northern Europe, even making itself known across the ocean, in the States. Producing 50,000 bottles per year entirely from its own grapes, today the company has gained the tools it needs to face environmentally friendly farming.

Territory:

Most of Rigo Vini’s vineyards are located in an area with a particular vocation for Dolcetto production: Diano d’Alba. Five hundred metres above sea level, this town is home to the ruins of a temple dedicated to the goddess Diana, to which it owes its name and Roman origins. The mixture of medieval and Baroque art, the privileged location of the ancient village—it’s no coincidence that the castle was originally meant to be a defense against Saracen raids—and the excellence in wine production make Diano a place rich in culture.

Hospitality:

The company has a designated room for winetasting. Making reservations guarantees better hospitality. Guided tastings are organised for groups with a taste of typical products from the Langhe.
